No. eGoldFax enables you to send and receive faxes wherever you are. Faxes can be sent or received via email, via a direct connection to your business application or via our desktop print app and can be accessed on any mobile device, desktop computer, laptop or other email enabled device. eGoldFax can also utilize your existing scanners and printers with scan-to-email technology.
No. eGoldFax has been designed to be as easy to use as possible. Faxes can be sent and received using nothing more than your exiting email account. Advanced functions for sending and receiving can be set up in your online portal.
Yes. Existing fax numbers can be transferred or “ported” over to the eGoldFax service. You will always retain ownership of your fax number even when it is used with eGoldFax, so you will have the ability to port the number away from eGoldFax in the future if you decide to discontinue your service. Please note that many of our competitors do not allow you to port your fax number away from their service so please consider this when choosing a vendor.

Sending a fax with eGoldFax is easy!

․ Digital documents can be attached to a standard email and then addressed to the receiver․s fax phone number.
․ Paper documents can be faxed using one of three methods.

  • Utilize a scanner to scan the document and either convert it to a digital document or send it directly from scanners that have a built-in scan-to-email function
  • Utilize a Multi-Function-Printer (MFP) to scan and send the document using either the scan-to-email function or a direct eGoldFax connector that is available for many major MFP manufacturers including Sharp, Kyocera, Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and Konica-Minolta.
  • Take a photo of the document using a mobile device and attach the photo to an email.
Receiving a fax with eGoldFax is easy!

‍ Received faxes come into your fax number(s) an can be automatically sent to a specified email address or multiple email addresses. Received faxes can also be auto-printed on a network printer, routed to a network folder or routed to a workflow via an API. You can also choose to have received faxes stored in your online portal and receive an email notification when a new fax has been received.
Absolutely! People that send or receive a fax from you will not know that you are using eGoldFax. eGoldFax gives you the flexibility to send and receive faxes from anywhere without the need for a physical fax machine.
Yes! Because of the way that eGoldFax is built, you can rest assured that you will never miss a fax due to a busy signal. You can receive multiple faxes to a single fax number at the same time. Many of our customers have experienced an increase in their fax traffic due to never missing a fax because of our “Never Busy Signal” technology.

No. eGoldFax is proud to offer a true month-to-month service with no long-term contracts and no early termination fees. We also allow you to take your fax numbers with you if you decide to leave the service.

eGoldFax can send you an email confirmation of sent faxes to confirm the transmission time, number of pages sent, recipient phone number and more.
